Homebuyer 101 classes cover a number of related topics including how to decide if you should buy a home, how much you can afford, shopping for a home, the need for home inspections, making an offer, applying for a mortgage, and your responsibilities as a property owner. Graduates of these classes are eligible for assistance with down payment financing and low-interest rate mortgages from a number of City and State programs.

Homeowner 201 classes cover topics such as managing and budgeting for your home, short and long-term property maintenance, and your legal responsibilities as a property owner and landlord.

MHNHS conducts homebuyer or homeowner classes in Mission Hill from time to time in collaboration with other organizations.
